South Tower Park Groundbreaking Ceremony
October 3, 2007
The ARISE sponsored committee, Voces del Pueblo, invited the Hidalgo County Commissioner to have discussions about building a recreational park where families can safely exercise and have small celebrations. ARISE sold the county 10 acres to use as the park site. October 3, 2007, was when the idea of the park became of a reality.
