Día del Niño

On May 3rd ARISE organized a march to celebrate Día del Niño.  Día del Niño is celebrated throughout Mexico on April 30th.  ARISE and the colonia residents it serves gathered in the South Tower colonia community and marched as a tribute to all children who are working towards a brighter future.  Children have the right to a quality education that encourages them to succeed and contribute to the improvement of the their quality of life and community.  With education the children hold the world in their hands.  For this to be a reality we must all do our part.  Speakers at the celebration of Día del Niño were community leaders and role models in the world of education.  Their were at least 900 people in attendance.
